ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܬܚܝܬ ܢܝܪܐ ܕܥܒܕܘܬܐ ܠܡܪܝܗܘܢ ܒܟܠ ܐܝܩܪ ܢܐܚܕܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܫܡܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܝܘܠܦܢܗ ܡܬܓܕܦ
'ylyn d'ythyhwn thkhyth nyr' debdwth' lmryhwn bkl 'yqr n'khdwn dl' nhw' shmh d'lh' wywlpnh mthgdp
Let as many as are bondservants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and the doctrine not be blasphemed.

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܠܐ ܢܒܣܘܢ ܒܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܕܐܚܝܗܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܢܫܡܫܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܥܠ ܕܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܚܒܝܒܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܬܬܢܝܚܝܢ ܒܬܫܡܫܬܗܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܠܦ ܘܒܥܝ ܡܢܗܘܢ
'ylyn dyn d'yth lhwn mry' mhymn' l' nbswn bhwn el d'khyhwn 'nwn 'l' ythyr'yth nshmshwn 'nwn el dmhymn' 'nwn wkhbyb' hlyn dmththnykhyn bthshmshthhwn hlyn 'lp wbey mnhwn
Those who have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brothers, but rather let them serve them, because those who partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܬ ܐܢܫ ܕܡܠܦ ܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܬܩܪܒ ܠܡܠܐ ܚܠܝܡܬܐ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܕܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ
'n dyn 'yth 'nsh dmlp ywlpn' 'khrn' wl' mthqrb lml' khlymth' dmrn yshwe mshykh' wlywlpn' ddkhlth 'lh'
If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness,

ܗܢܐ ܡܬܪܝܡ ܟܕ ܡܕܡ ܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܠܐ ܟܪܝܗ ܒܕܪܫܐ ܘܒܒܥܬܐ ܕܡܠܐ ܕܡܢܗܝܢ ܗܘܐ ܚܣܡܐ ܘܚܪܝܢܐ ܘܓܘܕܦܐ ܘܡܣܡ ܒܪܥܝܢܐ ܒܝܫܐ
hn' mthrym kd mdm l' yde 'l' kryh bdrsh' wbbeth' dml' dmnhyn hw' khsm' wkhryn' wgwdp' wmsm breyn' bysh'
he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions,

ܘܫܚܩܐ ܕܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܚܒܠ ܪܥܝܢܗܘܢ ܘܓܠܝܙܝܢ ܡܢ ܩܘܫܬܐ ܘܣܒܪܝܢ ܕܬܓܘܪܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܪܚܩ ܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ
wshkhq' dbnynsh' 'ylyn dmkhbl reynhwn wglyzyn mn qwshth' wsbryn dthgwrth' hy dkhlth 'lh' 'nth dyn 'thrkhq mn hlyn
constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such.

ܬܐܓܘܪܬܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܝܠܢ ܪܒܐ ܗܝ ܕܐܝܬܝܗ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܚܫܚܬܐ ܕܡܣܬܢ
th'gwrthn gyr dyln rb' hy d'ythyh dkhlth 'lh' bkhshkhth' dmsthn
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

ܡܕܡ ܓܝܪ ܠܐ ܐܥܠܢ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܘܝܕܝܥܐ ܕܐܦܠܐ ܕܢܦܩ ܡܢܗ ܡܫܟܚܝܢܢ
mdm gyr l' 'eln lelm' wydye' d'pl' dnpq mnh mshkkhynn
For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܣܦܩܐ ܠܢ ܡܐܟܘܠܬܐ ܘܬܟܣܝܬܐ
mTl hn' spq' ln m'kwlth' wthksyth'
But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܠܡܥܬܪ ܢܦܠܝܢ ܒܢܣܝܘܢܐ ܘܒܦܚܐ ܘܒܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܕܣܟܠܢ ܘܡܣܓܦܢ ܘܡܛܒܥܢ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܒܚܒܠܐ ܘܒܐܒܕܢܐ
'ylyn dyn dtsbyn lmethr nplyn bnsywn' wbpkh' wbrgygth' sgy'th' dskln wmsgpn wmTben lbnynsh' bkhbl' wb'bdn'
But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.

ܥܩܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܟܘܠܗܝܢ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܪܚܡܬ ܟܣܦܐ ܘܐܝܬ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܐܬܪܓܪܓܘ ܠܗ ܘܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܛܥܘ ܘܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܐܥܠܘ ܠܕܐܘܢܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ
eqr' dyn dkwlhyn byshth' 'ythyh rkhmth ksp' w'yth 'nsh' d'thrgrgw lh wmn hymnwth' Tew wnpshhwn 'elw ld'wn' sgy''
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܐܘ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܥܪܘܩ ܘܗܪܛ ܒܬܪ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܘܒܬܪ ܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܬܪ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܬܪ ܚܘܒܐ ܘܒܬܪ ܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܬܪ ܡܟܝܟܘܬܐ
'nth dyn 'w brnsh' d'lh' mn hlyn erwq whrT bthr zdyqwth' wbthr k'nwth' wbthr hymnwth' wbthr khwb' wbthr msybrnwth' wbthr mkykwth'
But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.

ܘܐܬܟܬܫ ܒܐܓܘܢܐ ܛܒܐ ܕܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܐܕܪܟ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܕܠܗܘܢ ܐܬܩܪܝܬ ܘܐܘܕܝܬ ܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܛܒܬܐ ܩܕܡ ܣܗܕܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ

Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.

I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession,

that you keep the commandment without spot, blameless, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ;

ܗܘ ܕܥܬܝܕ ܒܙܒܢܗ ܢܚܘܝܘܗܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܒܪܟܐ ܘܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܒܠܚܘܕܘܗܝ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܡܠܟܐ ܘܡܪܐ ܕܡܪܘܬܐ
hw dethyd bzbnh nkhwywhy 'lh' mbrk' wkhylthn' blkhwdwhy mlk' dmlk' wmr' dmrwth'
which in its own times he will show, who is the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

ܗܘ ܕܗܘ ܒܠܚܘܕܘܗܝ ܠܐ ܡܬܚܒܠ ܘܥܡܪ ܒܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܐܢܫ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܕܢܬܩܪܒ ܠܗ ܘܐܢܫ ܡܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܠܐ ܚܙܝܗܝ ܘܐܦܠܐ ܡܨܐ ܠܡܚܙܝܗ ܗܘ ܕܠܗ ܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ
hw dhw blkhwdwhy l' mthkhbl wemr bnwhr' d'nsh l' mshkkh dnthqrb lh w'nsh mn bnynsh' l' khzyhy w'pl' mts' lmkhzyh hw dlh 'yqr' wshwlTn' lelm elmyn 'myn
who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

ܠܥܬܝܪܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܦܩܕ ܕܠܐ ܢܬܪܝܡܘܢ ܒܪܥܝܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܬܟܠܘܢ ܥܠ ܥܘܬܪܐ ܕܠܝܬ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܬܘܟܠܢܐ ܐܠܐ ܥܠ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܝܐ ܗܘ ܕܝܗܒ ܠܢ ܟܠ ܥܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܠܢܝܚܢ

Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;

ܘܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܢܥܬܪܘܢ ܒܣܘܥܪܢܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܕܠܝܠܝܢ ܠܡܬܠ ܘܠܡܫܬܘܬܦܘ
wnebdwn ebd' Tb' wnethrwn bswern' shpyr' wnhwwn dlylyn lmthl wlmshthwthpw
that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to share;

ܘܢܣܝܡܘܢ ܠܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܫܬܐܣܬܐ ܛܒܬܐ ܠܡܕܡ ܕܥܬܝܕ ܕܢܕܪܟܘܢ ܚܝܐ ܫܪܝܪܐ
wnsymwn lnpshhwn shth'sth' Tbth' lmdm dethyd dndrkwn khy' shryr'
laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of eternal life.

ܐܘ ܛܝܡܬܐܐ ܐܙܕܗܪ ܒܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܓܥܠ ܠܟ ܘܥܪܘܩ ܡܢ ܒܢܬ ܩܠܐ ܣܪܝܩܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܗܦܟܬܐ ܕܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܓܠܬܐ

Timothy, guard that which is committed to you, turning away from the empty chatter and oppositions of what is falsely called knowledge;

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܡܫܬܘܕܝܢ ܠܗ ܛܥܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܥܡܟ ܐܡܝܢ
'ylyn gyr dmshthwdyn lh Tew lhwn mn hymnwth' Tybwth' emk 'myn
which some profess, and thus have wandered from the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.
